The Journey

Fabulousness & Apple Cider Vinegar

Who knew that apple cider vinegar was good for so much? I remember hearing older people talk about taking it, but I never paid it much attention because "it could never happen to me." Well, let me tell you.  After going through a really tough period of major stomach issues (read about those adventures here), my doctor told me that I had Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and wanted me to try a couple of medicines for two weeks. So basically, this confirms that the endoscopy did not lie. I do not have Celiac. And I am so thankful! ? I was not surprised at all by these results because even though I had been gluten-free for about two months, I was still getting sick. However, we were back at square one ...

How Did I Get Here? Part 2

"We have to let go of the life we have planned...to accept the one that is waiting for us." -Joseph Campbell So it has been almost a year since I wrote Part 1. If you did not catch it, you can check it out here. It has taken me a while because life has been evolving and I have been just trying to wrap my head around it. Lots of transitioning, but I was very grateful for it all. I knew that God was hearing me and answering my prayers even though His answer did not look the way I envisioned it. Does ...
